State Committee on Transfer
The Transfer Committee is one of SCHEV’s advisory committees. The Committee interprets and implements the State Policy on Transfer, identifies research questions and addresses them as appropriate, and facilitates communication and outreach reagarding transfer.
The Committee is comprised of an equal number of two- and four-year college representatives and is coordinated by a four-member management team. Committee members are appointed by SCHEV during the spring to renewable two-year, staggered terms.
Responsibilities of the Committee:
- Identify transfer issues and make recommendations to SCHEV and the VCCS on transfer policies and procedures
- Respond to concerns from various constituencies
- Develop and carry out annual action plan
- Sponsor transfer-related activities
